Parents' guide to reading at MPPS
Our Reading Books
All children choose their reading books from our school reading scheme. The books are colour banded using the Book Bands system. Phonics is assessed on an ongoing basis with formal testing at the end of Year 1 and 2 and reading ages are tested three times a year.
