Hooke Court 2017
When we arrived in the gorgeous sunshine we put our bags in our tent and headed for lunch. We saw lots of baby frogs that were tiny (maybe they smelt our sandwiches!). Then we orienteered through the woods where it was nice and shady. Our day ended with a mystery that we had to solve - 'What happened to Steve???'
We got up really early ready to start a new day. Once we had breakfast then off we went to our tribal kingdom day. We built a village, made a tribal song and face painted our tribe with our own ideas. We were very scary. After dinner we had a brilliant camp fire and all of us, including the teachers, sang and danced.
The teachers had to wake us up today as we were all very tired. Another great breakfast and then off for a river study. We learnt lots and even had to do some maths! It was very pretty by the river but a herd of cows decided to watch us and they were very smelly. We then got on the coach to go home, very happy to get home but also sad to be leaving Hooke Court.
