As an Architectural Technologist, I have worked in the architectural profession since leaving school, and I have been involved at director level in a number of local architectural practices over the last 35 years, responsible for staff appointment, training and budgets. In 2007 I set up my own practice with my son, from which I retired in early 2014. I’m married and have 4 grown up children, who all attended local Bournemouth schools, and 3 grandchildren, two currently in primary school, and one in secondary school (6th form). I became a parent governor when my children were at primary school and continued to be involved as a parent and community governor, in local primary and secondary schools ever since. I joined Malmesbury Park’s governing body in 2014 as a community governor, serving on the Resources Committee and Curriculum and Standards Committee. It has been a privilege and joy to be involved in Malmesbury Park’s amazing journey and look forward to its bright future.
